Don’t miss this DOUBLE TASTING!!

Jeff Lewis of Alexana Wines will be here to sample from a very cool winery group which produces three labels, Alexana in Oregon, Revana in California, and Corazon del Sol in Argentina. Their wines are organic and biodynamically-produced, and of incredible quality at very fair prices. Each winery has a specific backstory and a spirit tied to the region in which it’s situated. This is a good opportunity to sample from all three labels and learn about their stories!

Craig Ellick from from Stonestreet Estate Vineyards will pour this impressive Alexander Valley lineup! Stonestreet has a long reputation for quality and the wines speak for themselves.

“Stonestreet continues to build wines that show less emphasis on toasty new oak and more emphasis on vineyard site, fruit quality, and overall harmony and elegance.”
Robert Parker

2015 Stonestreet Estate Chardonnay, Alexander Valley
On Sale $34.99
This wine is a blend from several of the producer’s higher-elevation estate vineyards in the appellation. Floral and inviting in sugar apple, caramel crème brûlée and complex spice and salt seasonings, it’s plush and voluptuous, with supportive acidity and a crushed stone minerality.

2014 Stonestreet Upper Barn Vineyard Chardonnay
On Sale $66.99
From a site made famous by Helen Turley when she was buying its fruit, the 2014 Chardonnay Upper Barn is at an 1,800-foot elevation and spent 11 months in 52% new French oak. A killer Chardonnay (as it always has been), the wine offers up notes of wet gravel, citrus oil, apple blossom, orange marmalade, honeysuckle, and a hint of almond paste. Fabulous fruit on the attack, mid-palate and finish characterizes this dry, gorgeous, compelling Chardonnay that should age effortlessly for a decade or more.

2015 Stonestreet Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
On Sale $34.99
The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure reflection of our high-elevation vineyard estate, showcasing the wide variety of facings, soils and flora found on its primary ridge. Vibrant aromas of brambly blackberry, raspberry, tobacco and sage dominate, while underneath one finds subtle undertones of baking spices and anise. The palate offers dark, savory flavors of black currant, dried cherry, dried Herbes de Provence, and a touch of vanilla bean, enveloped in fine tannins that extend the wine through a lengthy cocoa-powder laden finish.
Winery Notes

2010 Stonestreet Rockfall Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
On Sale $87.99
This is an awesome Cabernet, that’s so packed with blackberries and cassis, it blows your mind. The richness is superbly balanced by fine acidity and sweet, complex tannins that rein everything into a focused structure. Feels velvety, refined and ageable. Hold until 2018 and drink it for an additional decade or beyond.
