2015 Domaine d’Orfeuilles, Vouvray Sec AOP
On Sale $17.99
Pristine and highly aromatic nose full of spring flowers, honeysuckle, fresh herbs and tart, tropical fruits. So much going on in the mouth here, floral and pear flavors are clean, precise and concentrated, and supported by brilliant acidity. This is a Vouvray that captures the ripeness and depth of fruit of the vintage. Finishes bone dry, sharply focused, and quite long.

2016 Domaine Lapierre “Raisins Gaulois,” Beaujolais AOP
On Sale $15.99
This wine is made exclusively from declassified lots of the Lapierre estate’s Morgon vineyard. Light, bright red, with delicious spicy red fruits on the perfumed nose and in the mouth. Fresh and elegant (like everything from Lapierre) with a white pepper quality adding lift. Awesome finish, with a ripe raspberry note behind. Frighteningly easy to drink.

2015 Belondrade Verdejo “Quinta Apalonia,” Rueda DO
On Sale $18.99
Lots of lemon skin, lemon grass and green apples. Medium-bodied and fresh with some fruit and a pleasing finish. Drink now.
90 points, James Suckling

2015 Celler Cecilio Billo “Ona,” Priorat DO
On Sale $17.99
Deep ruby with expansive aromas of black currant, dark cherry and licorice with exotic smoke, vanilla and violets. Concentrated but still super fresh on the palate with great clarity to the juicy black and blue fruit and floral flavors. Finishes smooth, mineral driven and long, with notes of dark chocolate and ripe tannin that show up late. This punches well above its weight!

2001 Fattoria La Ripa “Santa Brigida,” Toscana Rosso IGT
On Sale $49.99
Black color, with intense aroma of blackberries, violets and black olives. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Very impressive. Stylish, with soul. Back on form. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2006. 1,800 cases made.

2001 Fattoria La Ripa Santa Brigida Vin Santo of Chianti
On Sale $32.99
This rich, delicious dessert wine is the ultimate sheep’s milk cheese accompaniment! It’s much drier than you’d think…with notes of toffee, coffee, and walnuts.
