2018 Badia Di Morrona Vermentino “Felciaio”
On Sale $15.99
100% Vermentino, Straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights of good intensity. The wine is fresh and elegant in aroma with floral and citric notes. The flavors are soft and attractively crisp, perceptibly savory.
2017 Il Poggio “Nuvole Sul” Gavi di Gavi
On Sale $11.99
Aromas of ripe yellow stone fruit with a smoky note. Reflecting the nose, the linear, elegant palate offers yellow peach, citrus and flinty mineral alongside vibrant acidity.
2015 Pianirossi Sangiovese “Sidus,” Montecucco
On Sale $18.99
A refined and easy red with berry and light chocolate character. Medium body and soft tannins. Fresh finish. Drink now.

2018 Giacomo Fenocchio Dolcetto d’Alba
On Sale $17.99
Darkly saturated and succulent wine with deep ruby tonality that borders on black and purple. The bouquet is redolent of lots of very ripe dark fruit with bitter almond at the back. This hot vintage is well suited to this heat-loving grape variety. There are moments of brief tightness and bitterness on the close.

2014 Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo “Cannubi”
On Sale $68.99
Fenocchio’s 2014 Barolo Cannubi is pleasant, but also a bit rustic. Mint, dried flowers and sweet red cherry are all pushed forward. There is good depth in the glass, although the tannins remain a bit angular. It will be interesting to see if the 2014 acquires a bit more finesse in bottle.

2014 Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo “Villero”
On Sale $68.99
Enticingly fragrant, this focused red has alluring scents of rose petal, menthol, woodland berry and a whiff of new leather. The savory linear palate delivers juicy red cherry, crushed strawberry, star anise and cinnamon set against a backbone of vibrant acidity and firm, refined tannins.
