Giovanni Bresciani of Santa Caterina

2016 Santa Caterina Salidoro
On Sale $23.99
Intense yellow with golden highlights. The nose is marked by hay and smoke scents with pineapple and citrus undertones. Delicious, full attack with beautifully fresh thyme flowing into a lovely mid-palate and a saline finish.
Winery Notes

2016 Santa Caterina Grignolino
On Sale $21.99
Arlandino well adapts to Grignolino as Grignolino well adapts to Monferrato and its people. A harmonious, pleasant and reserved landscape, that in words and gestures of its inhabitant often reveals the great gift of irony. Arlandino, whose fragrance and personality are almost impossible to classify according to traditional canons, comes from the Poderi dei Mossetti vine and the Penango and Bisoglio vineyards, which were chosen for planting of this typical local cultivar since 1300. White calcareous soils, rich in freshness, distinguish the earth and give Arlandino fragrance and structure.
Winery Notes

2016 Santa Caterina Vina Lina Barbera d Asti Superiore
On Sale $20.99
Intense garnet. Expressive nose of raspberry. Supple attack, sensation of roundness and fullness. Easy-drinking, charming, accessible palate with subtle spice.
Winery Notes

2013 Santa Caterina Sori di Giul Freisa d Asti

Meaty nose with hints of rose-petal and leather, leading to a textured palate with a pleasing volume of plum and cassis fruit.
91 Points, Decanter

Matteo Calvaruso of Rivetto, La Spinona, and Bric Cenciurio

2016 Rivetto Nascetta
On Sale $34.99
Yellow gold, fruity at the nose, with exotic references, honey accent at the end, at the palate is fresh, mineral with a good grade of acidity that gives longevity to the indigenous white from Langhe. 100% Nascetta. A semi-aromatic grape native to Langhe with excellent ageing potential.
Winery Notes

2015 Rivetto Commune di Serralunga Barolo
On Sale $62.99
Wild berry, eucalyptus, scorched earth and dark spice aromas lead the way. On the taut, smooth palate, fine-grained tannins accompany Marasca cherry, cranberry compote and licorice.
93 Points, The Wine Enthusiast

NV Bric Cenciurio Birbet
On Sale $21.99
A special clone of Bracchetto grown in the Roero is used for their heighly aromatic Frizzante Red. So many fun applications for this wine that is simply an olfactory overload of Roses, berry jam, leading to the tongue with a perfectly clean burst of rich berry sweetness and a fresh splash of rose water. Try with spicy meats and sausages!
Importer’s notes

Anselmo Vermouth di Torino Rosso
On Sale $23.99
Based on an ancient recipe dated 1857, Anselmo Rosso revives today in a modern take. The natural ingredients and a light note of grapefruit make it a perfect base for unique cocktails. The perfume is intense, with a bouquet full of spices perfectly balanced and notes of candied orange, lemon peel and a grapefruit touch in the foreground like a signature. Delicate hints of sweet spices among which liquorice and vanilla stand out. On the palate, an effective balance of sweetness and a delicate acidity that acts as a counterpoint. The finale is fresh and slightly bitter, where gentian, quassia and wormwood, have a very pleasant persistence.
