2016 Domaine Clos Noly “Sainte Juste,” Macon-Charnay AOP
On Sale $14.99
From a village not far from Pouilly, this Mâcon-Charnay is rich and round, with lots of texture. On the palate, a white peach character is lifted by a floral note on the nose. It’s juicy and on the elegant side, showing good intensity and spicy cut to its flavors of stone fruits, flowers, and spices. It concludes with a wonderful, long finish. The “Sainte Juste” is aged 100% in stainless steel.

2016 Domaine de la Croix Senaillet, Saint-Veran AOP
On Sale $19.99
This beautiful Burgundy white is bright gold with a classic nose full of citrus zest, stone fruits, almond, and shortbread. In the mouth it’s crisp and yet and supple, with flavors of apple, pear, white peach and with spices adding complexity. We LOVE this easygoing white burg with its long, energetic finish.

2015 Bouchard Pere et Fils, Rully AOP
On Sale $29.99
A knock-out nose full of pineapple and white peach plus a great note of minerals. Exotic in the mouth with broad, fruit-driven flavors of Meyer lemons, green apple and tart yellow pineapple yet super balanced with refreshing acidity. This is just stunning, with the tension between the ripe flavors and mouth watering acidity making this is a classic Rully wine. The exact intensity of fruit for what I’d expect from this village. Word to its mother.

2015 Chateau Tessendey, Fronsac AOP
On Sale $14.99
The d’Arfeuille family, also owners of vineyards in Saint-Émilion, have produced a richly juicy wine from this 20-acre estate. It’s a rich wine with fine tannins, a smoky character, strongly structured and with excellent potential. Drink from 2023.

2014 Chateau Croix de Mai, Medoc AOP
On Sale $19.99
This Merlot-dominant blend (unusual for Left Bank) is from vines over 55 years old. Despite the fact that Merlot makes up 60% of the blend, the nose is definitely Cabernet Sauvignon driven! Owner & winemaker Cecile Reich comes from an already famous Bordeaux wine-making family (Chateau L’Argenteyre) and this baby is her own vision of a great Medoc red. The nose has notes of red fruits, cassis, vanilla, and bitter chocolate, and on the palate, it is ripe (classic 2014) with clear fruit flavor and particularly well-integrated oak and spice. A STEAL for $20!

2012 Chateau Bel Air, Pomerol AOP
On Sale $26.99
Dark fruit and chocolate aromas with hints of spices. Full to medium body, fine tannins and a medium finish. This is right next to Trotanoy. Excellent value. Needs two or three years to open. Try in 2018.

2012 Chateau Croix du Rival, Lussac-Saint-Emilion AOP
On Sale $18.99 (LOWEST PRICE ONLINE BY OVER $20!!)
The 2012 Rival is super-expressive and attractive today. Scents of rose petal, mint and sweet red cherries are alluring, while beams of supporting acidity and minerality give the wine much of its energy. Stephan von Neipperg proves he also has the magic touch here, in Lussac Saint-Emilion, where he is making absolutely delicious wines.

2015 Chateau Jeanguillon, Bordeaux Supérieur AOP
On Sale $9.99
This wine comes from Château Vrai Caillou’s 98-acre vineyard on a 220-acre plateau in the eastern Entre-deux-Mers. It is in a fruity style, just touched with wood and with some concentration from old vines. The wine has potential and will be ready to drink from 2021.
