18 Apr Fevre Chablis Sale
This collection from the King of Chablis is not to be missed. These are top tier white Burgundies, in a signature style to this region. They’re high-acid, mineral-rich, and full of nuance. In the 2016 vintage, almost no wine was produced in Chablis due to hail damage, so the ’14s and ’15s are getting more and more sought-after as they leave the market.
“No trip to Chablis would be complete without a visit to William Fevre, a producer who combines quantity and quality, in no small part thanks to the talent of head winemaker Didier Séguier.”

2014 Fevre Chablis “Montee de Tonnerre”
On Sale $59.99
(finished its malo recently): Pale yellow-green. Spiced apple, crystallized ginger and cool stone on the nose. A supple, stylish midweight with a restrained sweetness to its reticent mineral and spice flavors. Best today on the long, tactile finish, which conveys lovely perfumed lift. This very suave wine should make a great accompaniment for sushi.

2013 Fevre Chablis “Bougros Cotes Bouguerots”
On Sale $99.99
Bright, pale yellow-green. Precise aromas of lemon, lime and oyster shell, plus a note of mineral reduction. In the mouth, a sexy toasty nuance complements the ripe stone fruit and saline mineral flavors. Nicely pliant wine but also boasts very good inner-mouth tension and purity. Finishes tactile and long, showing very little impact of the vintage. Superb.
