16 May Georges Vernay
From the Rhone, we a great collection from Domaine Georges Vernay. Vernay’s reputation has been stellar for years for gorgeous whites, particularly Condrieu (the most exotic Viogniers on Earth). In more recent years, the estate under the control of Vernay’s daughter Christine, has elevated the quality of its red wine production. As a bonus, we have a lovely rosé of Syrah.
Robert Parker on Georges Vernay:
“Georges Vernay’s attractive daughter, Christine, has been running this estate for a number of years, and has not only built on the highly successful white wines of her father, but has also dramatically increased the quality of the reds.”
