We’re extremely excited to have Nagi Saikali from Lebanon’s best winery for this very special wine dinner. Taking place in the private room at Sardella, this delectable evening will feature a wonderful custom menu and a sampling of Ixsir’s entire line of wines.

ixsir_lo_res“…Ixsir, a winery located in the Batroun mountains area. They have six vineyard sources at altitudes ranging from 400 meters to 1,800 at “totally different climates,” the winery says. The winemakers are Gabriel Rivero, a Spaniard who was at Château Sociando-Mallet, and Hubert De Boüard, co-owner and manager of Château Angélus. The mid-range Grande Reserve is the flagship, with the EL being an upper-level wine from high altitudes. These are simply lovely. Showing mid-palate finesse and refinement, they have a sophisticated feel to them. If you’re into fruit bombs, that is not what you’re getting here. These have a lot of potential. Their freshness and balance may sustain them well in the cellar, too. They have a very Northern Rhône feel to them.”
