Laird Family Tasting Fri. 6/1

31 May Laird Family Tasting Fri. 6/1

Napa Valley Tasting
with Laird Family Vineyards!

Friday, June 1
5 to 7pm
In our Event Space

We’re hosting Ty Lopez from Laird Family Vineyards this Friday from 5 until 7! Laird has been made by none other than Paul Hobbs since their first vintage in 1999. We have long regarded them as Chardonnay masters, and their reds are pretty special as well. Additionally, they are the largest FAMILY-owned land holders in the entire valley. With this much land under vine they even supply Rombauer with around 50% of the fruit for their iconic Chardonnay.

2017 Laird Family Estate ” Cold Creek Ranch Vineyard” Pinot Grigio, Carneros AVA
On Sale $17.99
Ok, ok I get it. It’s Pinot Grigio. But this wine is FUN and perfect for balmy, humid nights. Furthermore, if you’re going to plant it in Cali, Carneros is the sweet spot. White peach and all manner of citrus flavors explode with ripe tropical mango in the mouth. Juicy yet still super crisp, with just a hint of classic Pinot Grigio’s bitter snap on the finish. Yum!

Lots of blackberry and blueberry character. Medium to full body, soft tannins and a flavorful finish. Big and flavorful wine but a thin line of tannins give this form. Better in 2018.
