2016 Domaine de Beauregard Muscadet “Sur Lie,” Sevre et Maine AOP
On Sale $12.99
Luscious and aromatic but still crisp and fresh, with fresh ripe pear, green apple, and almonds. Then a maritime quality (hello seafood!) with a subtle creamy palate, mouthwatering acidity, and mineral notes in the mouth. Every time I taste this I just keep thinking…how is this not Chablis?! And really I think it comes down to the fruit profile. That being said, if you’re a fan of Chablis you might have just found a new everyday drinker for the summer!
2015 Domaine Jean-Paul Balland, Sancerre AOP
On Sale $19.99
100 % sustainably grown Sauvignon Blanc, planted on limestone with only native yeasts used for fermentation. Absolutely classic, dry, and zesty with a character of crushed stones and ripe guava, starfruit, and citrus zest. Distinctly mineral-driven on the long, focused finish. A bottle of this and some warm goat cheese is a match made in heaven. This is a family run Domaine that has a staff of 5! This is the real deal with terroir to boot!
