2015 Maysara “Arsheen” Pinot Gris, McMinnville
On Sale $15.99
A bright expression of fruit right up front, greeting your palate with notes of cut grass on a warm day. The wine is anchored by crisp acidity, but not so much as to overpower a fleeting tease of sweetness that leaves you smiling. Arsheen has a smart, refreshing character that will bestow clarity to a range of preparations of fish, fowl, and pork.
2014 Three Degrees Pinot Noir, McMinnville

Three Degrees is a Pinot Noir made by the Momtazi sisters when they set out to make a Pinot that tastes great, comes from high quality grapes, all while being affordable for everyone. Intriguing notes of fresh earth, oak leaves and pepper are woven together in the initial impression. Lifted, verdant tannins give this wine a firm structure for the vintage to showcase its characteristic spiciness. A vibrant and snappy Pinot that will shine and refresh when paired with curries, spetzatinas, and rich stews.
2012 Maysara “Jamsheed” Pinot Noir, McMinnville
On Sale $24.99
Earthy scents project leafy greens, beetroot and forest floor, but in the mouth the wine opens up with robust black cherry, coffee and cassis. It’s complex and detailed, though it retains that inherent earthiness through the finish.

2011 Maysara “Cyrus” Estate Cuvee Pinot Noir, McMinnville
On Sale $32.99
A cuvee with which the Momtazi’s attempt to strike a balance between high- and low-elevation, eastern- and western-exposed portions of their property and which gets bottled at around 18 months, the Maysara 2011 Pinot Noir Cyrus initially gives-off some characteristically low-sulfur signals of torrefaction (chocolate and deeply-toasted pecan) and yeasty aromatic prickle, but simultaneously reductive suggestions of pork rind. Happily, these fade with decantation and a strawberry-rhubarb fruit character emerges akin to that exhibited by the 2010 Jamsheed bottling and which is nicely complimented by the residues of toasted pecan and chocolate. There is a delightfully caressing texture as well as buoyancy (at 12.5% alcohol), and the fruit follows with luscious clarity. This will need time, but should serve well through at least 2018.

2010 Maysara “Asha” Pinot Noir, McMinnville

A jeweled glassful of garnets, Asha dances onto your palate with amarena cherries, pine nuts and a tantalizing wisp of a far away campfire.. Completely elegant and silken tannins have integrated perfectly to form a structure that allows the richness of the vintage to glow brightly, while still allowing for age-ability. Pair with dishes that utilize slow braised meats, complex layers of spices and caramelization, as the mid-palate is graced with layers of its own.
