We’re also pouring some of our other Tuscan favorites!

2016 Badia Di Morrona Vermentino Toscana IGT
On Sale $16.99
Pale straw-yellow color. High-pitched aromatics with clean aromas of yellow apples, ginger, and white flowers. Very bright, crisp and juicy, in a lime tinged, citrusy, medium body. Flavors all confirm the nose with a long, bone-dry finish. A great balanced, easygoing white.

2016 Badia di Morrona “Caligiano,” Chianti DOCG
On Sale $10.99
This spicy, smooth Sangiovese comes to us from a great producer, but more importantly 2015 IS A GREAT CHIANTI VINTAGE! It’s a classic example of the grape, with succulent dark cherry, plum, smoke, licorice, and a backbone of fresh herbs, amped up by the natural richness of the year. The tannins are soft and understated but provide a nice dry finish. In 2015, the Caligiano is both a huge overachiever and a terrific value. The wine drinks incredibly well at a bargain price!

2015 Mastrojanni Rosso di Montalcino DOC
On Sale $29.99
Ok, it’s not as big or rich as their flagship Brunello di Montalcino, but….it IS as charming and, more importantly, it drinks beautifully young! We also think this will easily age for the next 4-5 years. It spent about 7 months in large (5,400 liter) Allier oak barrels. Bright ruby red in color, aromas of red cherries that are complemented by baking spices and earthy goodness. The palate features red fruit, herbs and a savory, spicy finish. This is a fresh and vibrant expression of Sangiovese with fine tannins. Wonderfully food friendly, it will drink beautifully for 3-4 years. This is an excellent wine to pair with stews, roasts, meat pastas, and more. This Rosso is a true value and a first class wine.
