25 Nov New Cremant from Domaine des Granges
This zippy, refreshing Cremant (the name for non-Champagne French sparkling wine). Yannick Paquet is from the family behind the Domaine des Granges label, which we’ve been in love with for a while. This Cremant is a great alternative to Champagne when you want to celebrate the moment but not spend an arm and a leg.

All the vineyards are sustainably farmed in order to protect the environment, and only indigenous yeasts are used to ferment. Everything is done to obtain a wine as natural as possible. Yannick’s
talent, guidance, integrity, and conscientiousness are apparent in the wines he creates. These wines are delicious and classic with an emphasis on showcasing the calcaire rich soils of the vineyards while presenting crisp yet ripe orchard fruits.

This white Burgundy was the white wine at a wedding reception some of us attended last week, and it was drinking so beautifully. It’s got loads of tropical fruit and bright floral aromas, and just enough weight without being too heavy. It’s sexy and sumptuous (and cheap!).
2016 Domaine des Granges Macon-Fuisse, Burgundy
On Sale $14.99
This wine comes from the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, but from higher altitude vineyards which were never classified as Pouilly-Fuissé. It displays pointed calcaire soil notes in the nose, with great complex fruits on the palate, and touches of honey on the finish. It is aged in 100% stainless steel.
