A terrific white that has notable freshness and purity, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Esprit Barville Blanc offers classic notes of poached pear, apple and assorted orchard fruits in a medium-bodied, clean, crisp package.

2015 Yves Cuilleron Marsanne “Les Vignes d’á Côté”

Weighty, but bright and lively too, with lots of mirabelle plum, apricot and white peach fruit flavors pumping forth, backed by verbena and citrus oil accents through the finish. Very tasty. Drink now through 2018. 200 cases imported.
91 Points, The Wine Spectator

2016 Brotte Cotes du Rhone Rosé “Esprit Barville”
On Sale $12.99
This beauty is fresh and fruity, with notes of strawberry, cherry, citrus, and almond. It has good concentration, but not at the expense of lightness.
Merch Notes

2015 Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 30
On Sale $29.99
Starting with his younger vine cuvée, the 2015 Cornas Granit 30 (1,500 cases) comes from the Patou and Saint Pierre lieux-dits and will see roughly 15 months in barrel. It’s a deep, sexy, fruit-loaded beauty that has a saturated purple color, awesome notes of blackberries, blueberries, violets, spring flowers and licorice, as well as full-bodied richness and sweet, yet present tannin. This puppy has tons of fruit and is relatively upfront and textured, but it has enough tannin to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age.

2015 Berthaude Chateauneuf-du-Pape “Tradition”
On Sale $22.99
The young and diligent Xavier Rolin is a 5th-generation winemaker. His family domain is based in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in a district called Berthaude, thus the name Maison la Berthaude. Xavier’s family owns nearly 100 acres, with approximately half in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a little less in Côtes du Rhône, and some in IGP production. The estate’s vineyards span over 72 individual parcels, each with its own distinct reflection of terroir. The blend on the Cuvee Tradition reflects the soil combination of “cailloux” (river stone) & sandy soils-85% Grenache & 15% syrah. The blend is then vinified & aged in cuve (used barrels). This is a special cuvee upon the importers request to showcase the intensity of fruit achieved by the winemaker. Bold & juicy black currant & raspberry intertwined with garrigue, olive tapenade and stones; really plush in the middle and a driving, spicy finish.
Craig Baker, importer

2015 Les 3 Cellier Chateauneuf-du-Pape “Cuvee Alchimie”
On Sale $29.99
Pepper, dried Provençal herbs and wild red berries pervade the nose,The palate has a sleek, smooth and nicely weighted feel. Drinking well now with plenty of attractive fleshy fruit.
92 Points, James Suckling

2015 Chateau Juvenal Cotes du Ventoux la Terre du Petit Homme
On Sale $19.99
Tasted out of barrels, the 2015 Cotes du Ventoux la Terre du Petit Homme is a head turner. Made from equal parts Grenache and Syrah, it’s a full-bodied, incredibly pure red that offers ample notes of black raspberries, wild strawberries, garrigue and crushed flowers. It has a touch of oak to integrate, beautiful mid-palate depth and a great finish. It’s a smokin’ good effort that will have a decade of longevity.
