Saturday Lineup:

2017 Domaine de la Begude Rosé, Bandol AOP
On Sale $22.99
This is a rich style of rosé, due to the high proportion of Mourvèdre in the blend and to the warm exposure of the vineyard. But it is balanced, the rich red fruits easily cut with acidity and with a touch of minerality. Drink the wine now.

2017 Chateau des Bertrand Rosé “Élégance Réserve,” Cotes de Provence AOP
On Sale $14.99
Very fresh, with light herb and wet stone notes carrying tasty peach, mango and white cherry fruit flavors. Shows more range than most, staying elegant and detailed through the finish. Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle.
90 points, The Wine Spectator

2017 Gassier en Provence Rosé “Esprit Gassier,” Cotes de Provence AOP
On Sale $17.99
This is an intense, structured wine with great acidity as well as swathes of red fruits. A rich wine dominated by peppery Grenache, it also has a pure, red-currant flavor. The acidity is tight and refreshing. The wine will be better with food. Drink now.
90 points, The Wine Enthusiast (Editors’ Choice)

2017 Chateau des Muraires Rosé “Seduction,” Cotes de Provence AOP
On Sale $18.99
Tall and square, this wine’s bottle is striking in itself. The wine inside, with its bold red fruits and clean, crisp acidity is equally impressive. It has great fruitiness, rich and full while still keeping plenty of freshness. Drink the wine from late 2018.
90 points, The Wine Enthusiast (Editors’ Choice)

2017 Domaine de la Mordorée Rosé “La Dame Rousse,” Cotes du Rhone AOP
On Sale $19.99
The medium-pink 2017 Cotes du Rhone Rose La Dame Rousse is another top example of this cuvée. It offers raspberry, pear and melon flavors, a plump, medium-bodied mouthfeel and a long, citrusy finish. Crisp and clean, it should be consumed over the next several months.

2017 Chateau Grande Cassagne Rosé, Costieres de Nimes AOP
On Sale $9.99
This perennial favorite is a blend of 60% grenache and 40% syrah. On the nose, notes of raspberry, cherry, and a hint of minerals lead to a palate of tangy cherry and blood orange. This is as good as this appellation gets and it’s a TOTAL steal!

2017 Domaine Laroche Rosé “Mas la Chevaliere,” Pays d’Oc IGP
On Sale $12.99
This rockin’ rosé comes from the famous Domaine LaRoch! LaRoche is a stunning estate in the extreme north of Burgundy, Chablis. What’s not know outside of France is that they have a property in the extreme south of France the Languedoc! A blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah, it has a richness that comes across on the nose before it even reaches the palate. Notes of strawberries, tropical fruit, and red berries lead to a zesty, dry finish. This is the rosé of the year!

2017 Domaine de Triennes Rosé, Var IGP
On Sale $15.99
Ok hold the phone here….Two of Burgundy’s greatest names Jacques Seysses, founder of Domaine Dujac, and Aubert de Villaine, co-owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti are the partners behind this pioneering property in Provence! That’s right the two godfathers of modern Burgundy make this beauty…do I need to go on? Made from Cinsault (mostly), Grenache, Syrah, and Merlot grapes the wine has a bouquet of strawberries and white flowers with hints of vanilla. It has the harmony and elegance that has earned world-wide appreciation of the rosés of Provence.
