2017 Sheridan Vineyard Estate Chardonnay “La Belle Blonde,” Yakima Valley AVA
On Sale $26.99
The 2017 Chardonnay La Belle Blonde is a solid effort and this cuvee is always made in a richer, full style. The 2017 has a medium gold color and a powerful bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, toasty oak, spice, and brioche, with just a hint of honeyed pears. Medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, and concentrated, it’s a ripe, fleshy, nicely made Chardonnay to drink over the coming year or two.

2017 Sheridan Vineyard “Mystique,” Yakima AVA
On Sale $23.99
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2017 Mystique, which has already been bottled, offers a complex, Bordeaux like vibe as well as lots of black cherry and currant fruits intermixed with lead pencil, dried earth, coffee bean, and licorice. I love its aromatics and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, no hard edges, terrific balance, and just a classic Sheridan Vineyard style. It’s ideal for drinking over the coming decade as well.

2017 Sheridan Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Yakima Valley AVA
On Sale $23.99
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon offers impressive black cherry, currants, sandalwood, and licorice aromas and it’s more medium-bodied and elegant on the palate compared to the Merlot. With terrific balance, present, ripe tannins, and outstanding length, it’s going to evolve nicely for over a decade.

2016 Sheridan Vineyard “L’Orage,” Yakima Valley AVA
On Sale $49.99
The Cabernet Sauvignon dominated 2016 L’Orage, which normally includes some Cabernet Franc, offers a dark, earthy, herbal style in its red and black fruits, cedarwood, and tobacco aromas and flavors. It’s medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and structured, with enough firm tannins to warrant 4-5 years of bottle age.

2017 Sheridan Vineyard Cabernet Franc “Boss Block,” Yakima Valley AVA

While still exceptionally young, it already yields a serious core of dark fruit, damp forest, bitter chocolate and fresh herbs. Massive and rich this full-bodied wine that has an a kaleidoscope of aromas, voluptuous texture and a fully loaded mid-palate. The highly concentrationed style and superb freshness is a hallmark for Washington and specifically this vineyard. A great finish wraps up the brilliant effort.
