2015 Paza de Rubianes Albarino
On Sale $18.99
This golden yellow Albarino is tropical and aromatic, with notes of apple, pear, pineapple, spring flowers, and subtle hints of minerals. It is classic Albarino at a very fair price. Paza de Rubianes is a 15th Century estate that currently selects only 30% of its grapes to make its two wines.
2015 “OGV” Old Vines Garnacha, Catalayud
On Sale $9.99
There is a new 2015 OGV Old Garnacha Vine, sourced from different plots at 800 to 1,000 meters altitude on slate and clay soils, and fermented in concrete vats followed by six months in second-use French and new American oak barrels. It feels like a super Albada, subtle and elegant, quite harmonious and balanced, offering more balsamic notes with time in the glass. The palate revealed juicy fruit and clean flavors with an earthy touch that makes it very tasty. 24,200 bottles were filled in February 2017.

2014 La Encina Centenaria
On Sale $9.99
Another new red blend, at least for me, the 2014 La Encina Centenaria feels earthier, with more influence from Monastrell with aromas of tree bark and esparto grass, and elegant rusticity in the palate. It has good depth and balance. Quite classical in style, with vinification and upbringing in oak barrels for one year. A nice addition to the portfolio, with more contained ripeness than some of the more expensive wines. 15,000 bottles produced.
