2014 Chateau de l’Eperonniere Cremant de Loire
On Sale $20.99
This aromatic and expressive Crémant shows what superb sparkling wine can be made from Chenin Blanc with ample aging sur lattes (in this case, 3 years). From the 2011 vintage, it’s a blend of 80% Chenin, 5% Chardonnay, and 5% Cabernet Franc disgorged in 2014. With fine mousse and notes of yellow apple and wisteria across the midpalate, it’s nicely balanced with 2 grams of dosage tempering the naturally high acidity of Chenin Blanc.
2017 Brotte Esprit Barville Cotes du Rhone Blanc
On Sale $12.99
Bright, with makrut lime, kiwifruit core and yellow apple fruit flavors streaming through. A honeysuckle edge appears on the lively finish. Drink now through 2019. 7,500 cases made.

2016 De Forville Chardonnay, Piedmont, Italy
On Sale $15.99
Also from the Ca del Buc vineyard site in Castagnole Lanze, the Chardonnay vines are now 30 years of age (as of 2011) having been planted in place of an old vineyard of Grignolino in the early 1980s. Vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel, the Piemonte Chardonnay is brisk and clean but rather full-bodied as it naturally achieves 13% alcohol annually.
2017 Remhoogte Estate Chenin Blanc “Honeybunch Reserve,” Simonsberg, Stellenbosch, South Africa
On Sale $26.99
This is an AMAZING wine! It’s hands-down one of the finest examples of cool climate South African Chenin Blanc, sourced from vines with over 35 years of age and made from the first pick through this vineyard. All the exposed bunches on the morning sun side only are hand harvested. They turn a golden color as a result of their exposure to the sun and develop a unique honeyed character. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in 225 liter french oak provides a stunning level of richness and a deep golden hue. On the palate, it’s limey with loads of white flowers and honeysuckle. An elegant, complex nutty character brings a savory element to the fresh, bright fruit notes. Ripe, juicy pear, fig, and honeydew come through at the core. The medium-weight palate is smooth and mouth-filling, but with ample acidity to lift the wine’s richness. Notes of honeycomb and sweet spice linger long on the finish. Bravo!
2016 Vigneti Le Monde Cabernet Franc, Friuli, Italy
On Sale $15.99
This Cabernet Franc from 40 year old vines is rich and intense, with elegant floral aromatics, and a fruity, jammy flavor profile but a surprising lightness on the palate.
2015 Arterberry Maresh Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
On Sale $24.99
Bright red. Highly perfumed red berry preserve, Asian spice and rose oil aromas are lent vivacity by a smoky mineral nuance. Silky, expansive raspberry, bitter cherry and spicecake flavors show very good energy and pick up a smoky flourish with aeration. Finishes juicy, gently sweet and quite long, featuring lingering red fruit flavors and discreet tannins.
