2016 L’Ecole No. 41 “Old Vines” Chenin Blanc, Columbia Valley AVA
On Sale $15.99
(from four old vineyards in Yakima, planted in 1978 and 1979; done entirely in stainless steel): Pale, bright yellow. Lovely lift to the aromas and flavors of orange, lemon, ginger, shiso leaf and flowers. Dense but racy wine with a cooler note of pink grapefruit and a suggestion of botrytis (but just two grams per liter residual sugar). Turns more citrussy and dry on the dusty, building back end. This should age well on its sound acidity.

2015 Gen5 Chardonnay, Lodi
On Sale $8.99
The fifth generation certainly got it right. This wine is more savory than fruity, as earth and oak flavors highlight the aromas while baking spices and almond flavors soothe the palate. It’s smooth and lush in texture and not too heavy in body. Drink now.

2017 Summer Water Rosé, California
On Sale $16.99
This smartly named rosé is a beautiful shade of pink, and sports aromas of raspberry, melon and flint. The flavors are subtle and soft, with watermelon, strawberry and tangerine touches, proving easy to like and mellow.

2016 “Urgency” Pinot Noir, California
On Sale $11.99
We found it hard to believe that a Pinot bearing only the “California” designation could ever be this expressive and well made at this ridiculously low price point! It’s a beautiful garnet red with dark red cherry, cranberry, and a touch of black tea aromas. The palate maintains enough acidity and freshness to prop up all the yummy ripeness and deliver a killer value! All of this leads the way to a rock solid red that has bright acidity and wonderful texture. A new staff favorite!

2016 Unity Cabernet Sauvignon, California
On Sale $39.99
The Unity Cabernet Sauvignon is an opulent wine with aromas of ripe cherry, cigar box and hints of lavender. On the palate flavors of Santa Rosa plum are layered with rich caramel, rhubarb and toasted oak, finishing with decadent notes of mixed black fruits and dark cocoa.

2014 Tarot Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
On Sale $49.99
Blended of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions of Petit Sirah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the 2014 Tarot Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and notes of cassis, crushed plums and blueberry pie with hints of cigar box and dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, fine and fresh in the mouth, it expresses plenty of pure fruit with a soft, ripe frame, finishing with an herbal lift.
