16 Nov Wine AND Beer Tastings Sun. 11/19
Sunday, November 19
1 to 4pm
At the Bar
This Sunday, sample the wines from Jura! Jura is an obscure region situated between Burgundy and the Northern Rhone Valley. It’s home to lesser-known grapes like Savignin and Trousseau, but also stunning quality Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. While this region is well-known among the wine community for its oxidative “vin jaune,” which is a lot like Sherry, we find that its young, fresh wines are friendly and appealing to a wider audience. In addition to these, we’ll be showing a few bonus wines TBA!
2014 Domaine de la Touraize Cremant de Jura
On Sale $24.99
(100% Chardonnay) Notes of fresh bread and butter on the nose lead to a ripe grape-y palate and a long, fresh finish.
2015 Domaine de la Touraize “Les Moulins,” Jura

(65% Chardonnay, 35% Savagnin)
