2014 Ca Rome Barbaresco “Chiaramanti”
On Sale $74.99
Deep garnet with ruby reflections, rich aromas of licorice, red berries, brushwood, violets, cinnamon and cloves confirmed on a full, well-balanced palate, showing complex flavors of ripe fruit and a persistent finish.
Importer’s Notes

2014 Ca Rome Barbaresco “Sori Rio Sordo”
On Sale $82.99
The bouquet is ethereal and complex, with touches of wild roses, violets and licorice, resulting in a silky, mouth-filling and structured palate.
Importer’s Notes

2012 Costanti Brunello di Montalcino
On Sale $74.99
Vivid dark red. Ripe aromas of red cherry, blood orange and stone fruit. Smooth, dense and juicy, with flavors similar to the aromas but complicated by notes of fresh herbs, sweet spices and hints of flint. Long and suave, with noble but youthfully chewy tannins providing support. Knockout classic Brunello, in fact, one of the year’s best.
94+ Points, Vinous Media

2013 Einaudi Barolo “Terlo”
On Sale $52.99
Love the decadent, sweet-tobacco, stem and ripe-fruit aromas to this one. Full-bodied, layered and soft with ripe tannins and so much subtle fruit. Sexy is the only word to describe it. Drink in 2020.
94 Points, James Suckling

2013 Einaudi Barolo “Cannubi”
On Sale $69.99
Aromas of cream, light toffee, mushrooms and plums follow through to a full body, silky tannins and a fresh and clean finish. Very tannic yet the tannins are ripe and polished. Try in 2021.
94 Points, James Suckling

2012 Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino
On Sale $84.99
Extremely floral with rose-petal and cherry character. Walnut and mushroom undertones. Medium to full body, velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Citrus-rind undertones. Delicious, solid and harmonious wine. Drink or hold. Better in 2019.
95 Points, James Suckling

2013 Marcarini Barolo “Brunate”
On Sale $54.99
The 2013 Barolo Brunate is laced with the essence of dark cherry, herb, licorice, sage, tobacco and menthol. The aromatic intensity, intrigue and textural depth of Brunate comes through nicely. Deep, rich and beautifully layered, the 2013 offers lovely depth and balance in the classic understated Marcarini style.
91 Points, Vinous Media

2013 Marcarini Barolo “La Serra”
On Sale $46.99
Marcarini’s 2013 Barolo La Serra is a very pretty, super-classic wine with plenty of La Serra aromatics and tannic grip. Sweet floral notes, crushed red berries, white pepper and mint are some of the signatures. Weightless and a touch ethereal, the 2013 possesses good depth, with beams of supporting acidity and tannin that extend the finish nicely. I would prefer to drink the 2013 sooner rather than later, as it does not appear to be built for extended cellaring.
90 Points, James Suckling
