If you can’t make it by on Saturday, or just want to round out your Bordeaux tasting education, stop in on Sunday to taste three more classic Bordeaux wines!

2014 Ronan by Clinet Blanc, Bordeaux AOC
On Sale $12.99
“80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon. Brilliant gold color. The vineyard is situated between Sauternes and Saint-Emilion. A very unique style, with great medium weight. It’s fairly rare to find this style of white Bordeaux, with lemon rind, chamomile and orange blossom. White flowers, almonds, peach and tropical fruit turn into more high-toned pear and jasmine notes. Although medium in body, the style is intensely aromatic and rich.”
Jason Main, The Wine Merchant, LTD.

2010 Le Baron de Malleret, Haut-Médoc AOC, Bordeaux
On Sale $16.99
“Rich, brooding black fruits nose, some charry oak. Medium-bodied, sleek, concentrated, quite stylish, and has plenty of perky acidity to enliven the palate. Not an especially powerful style but has some finesse and poise, with some depth of fruit. Quite good length.”

2011 Chateau Croix Cardinale, St Emilion Grand Cru AOC, Bordeaux
On Sale $28.99
“From nearly 19 acres recently acquired by the Decoster family, the 2011 Croix Cardinale is a beauty. Dense ruby-purple-colored, this vineyard was cropped at a low 28 hectoliters per hectare, and the wine is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that achieved nearly 15% alcohol. Supple and silky-textured with a sumptuous, full-bodied mouthfeel as well as loads of black currant and black cherry fruit, it is a rich, long, stunning beauty meant to be consumed over the next 10-12 years. Bravo!”
92 Points, Robert Parker
