Tuscans, oh my! We went heavy purchasing many of these because we believe they provide outstanding value. Il Fauno from Arceno is always a blockbuster right bank Bordeaux style blend. In addition, we have the red blend form Giodo, who made a perfect 100 point Brunello di Montalcino in the 2010 vintage.

This distinguished estate makes the finestFrascati we know, from a judicious blend of carefully tended local grape varieties, malvasia di Candia and malvasia di Lazio giving aroma, and grechetto and semillon adding body and length.

2014 Statti Lamezia Greco – Malvasia Calabria, Italy

Intense straw yellow color. Flowery and fruity on the nose with notes of acacia, melon and plum. On the palate it is fresh, clean and balanced, confirming the aromas perceived on the nose, with a pleasant mineral undertone.

2014 Tenuta del Cerro “Manero,” Bianco di Toscana, IGT
On Sale $12.99
Fresh and pleasant for any occasion, this wine is pale yellow with light green glints. A delicate fruity aroma with notes of golden apple, white plum, and green banana. The flavor is immediate and pleasant; it has a medium concentration, with a final acidulous sensation that facilitates drinking. It can be served with fish appetizers, first courses of shellfish, steamed or grilled white fish.

2015 Brunelli, Toscana, IGT
On Sale $14.99
Produced from a selection of Sangiovese grapes from Brunello vines and a small quantity of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this wine is characterized by its intense color tending to a purplish hue. Its fragrance is fruity and persistent with scents of wild berries and slight traces of spice. Soft, balanced and appropriately tannic, the Sant’Antimo Rosso ideally accompanies the entire meal.
Winemaker’s Notes
