2016 Muddy Arch Roussanne, California
On Sale $19.99
Our brand, Muddy Arch, examines the rarely planted Roussanne varietal from top Northern California vineyard sites to expose the nuances of these local microclimates. Producing our wines in a classic wine style by utilizing balanced Roussanne fruit that is less ripe rewards us with lean and precise white wines that express a spectrum of notes from pungent stone fruit to brimming citrus to a deep honey.
2016 Muddy Arch Roussanne, Haug Vineyard, Rutherford
On Sale $34.99
True to the exotic varietal, the sensory on this Roussanne is littered with talent. Aromatically, slate fuses with orange notes of tangelo, fresh apricot, and cantaloupe while yellow apple drips in beeswax. A dusting of cardamom and black pepper caresses the sultry bouquet. A mid-palate framed by high viscosity, volume, and chewiness bear hugs tasty Bosc pear flesh and light honey flavors. Acidic and lengthy, the succulent finish carries strong notes of savory herbs, wild thistle, and lime harvested in its prime.
2014 Muddy Arch Grenache Blanc, Snow Vineyard, Sonoma County
On Sale $34.99
The Grenache Blanc varietal, a Muddy Arch limited release! Delicate notes of steel, slate, and nectarine fill the nose of the 2014 Snow Vineyard Grenache Blanc. A green bitterness experienced in its youth has evolved into pungent grapefruit flavor. Extreme length and depth
on the palate are now escorted by suppleness.
2016 Leonard Wine Co. “Lou’s Blend,” Sonoma County
On Sale $29.99
To produce elegant, vineyard designate Roussanne and Zinfandel wines of luxury and depth, we first and foremost farm concentrated fruit, and then pick early to retain varietal characters and site expression and to avoid high alcohol and overripe flavors. In the winery we carry out ‘old world’ fermentation techniques to impart stability and finesse, and ultimately develop a textural and structured framework by way of extended barrel aging on the lees and bottle aging before release. The result is a classic wine style offering a dense, full-length palate littered in mouthfeel and finishing with succulence all the while accompanied by a range of savory and fruity aromatics and flavors. Full of acid and texture our food wines marry cuisine beautifully.
2014 Leonard Wine Co. Zinfandel, Collins Vineyard, Russian River Valley
On Sale $49.99
From historic vines, our 2014 Collins Vineyard Zinfandel offers handsome aromas of white pepper, cigar box, and tobacco leaves while flavors of black fruits and forest floor hit your taste buds. Thick skins and some new oak provide a ‘one-two punch’ as tannins tantalize your inner cheeks and grip down on your tongue while extreme succulence
attacks the finish.
