24 Jan Martietta Cellars Tasting
Sunday, January 27
1 to 4pm
At the Bar
We have been long time supporters of this family owned and operated winery in Sonoma County. The winery is now under the leadership of the second generation, Scott Bilbro and the wines just seem to be moving from strength to strength….and the critics agree with us!
NV Marietta Cellars (Lot #68) Old Vine Red, California AVA
On Sale $12.99
A multi-vintage and variety blend (neither the vintage nor the varieties were listed), the Lot 68 Old Vine Red is deep ruby-colored and has terrific fruit, lots of spice and graphite nuances, medium body, and shocking purity and texture for a wine at this price point (from California anyway). It has tons to love and is a little gem to drink over the coming year or two.

2015 Marietta Cellars “Arme” Cabernet Sauvignon, North Coast AVA
On Sale $19.99
The 2015 Armé, Marietta’s Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend, is fabulous, not to mention a tremendous value. Grilled herbs, plums, blueberry jam, spice, mint and leather give the 2015 its nuance and complexity. Supple and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2015 hits all the right notes. What a gorgeous wine this is.
