Ooh la la, tres French!

2013 Domaine Clos Noly Macon-Charnay “Saint Juste”
On Sale $12.99
From a village not far from Pouilly, this Mâcon-Charnay is rich and round, with lots of texture. On the palate, pear and yellow apple skin flavors appear, along with hints of calcaire. It concludes with a wonderful, enduring finish. The “Sainte Juste” is aged 100% in stainless steel.

2013 Domaine V. Bouzereau Mersault Narvaux
On Sale $43.99
The famous and sought after vineyard of Narvaux sits high on the hill and overlooks the picturesque village of Meursault. Planted in almost pure calcaire, the wine acts more like Puligny than Meursault. 100% barrel fermented and aged, 25% new oak. Orange and lime zest sweet round middle with fat and precision.

2013 Domaine V. Bouzereau Corton Charlemegne “Fietres” Grand Cru
On Sale $86.99
Situated directly above the village of Aloxe, this is a very rare wine as 90% of the vineyard is planted in Pinot Noir. Spectacular wine. 100% barrel fermented and aged, 40% new oak. Lush sweet corn and wildflowers, intense caramel with cinnamon hints. Toasty vanilla on the finish.

2013 Domaine de Rosiers Cote Rotie Coeur de Rose
On Sale $54.99
“Heart of the Rose” from Domaine de Rosiers is a special 5-barrel selection from the cave. The wine selected displays especially profound power and deep soil complexity as well as fine structure. The estate never produces more than 1,500 bottles of this very ripe, smoked meat-infused wine. It is aged in a maximum of 50% new oak for 18 months.

2013 Guillaume Gonnet Chateauneuf du Pape “Bel Ami”
On Sale $34.99
This special cuvée from Guillaume Gonnet boasts a beautiful ruby red color. It leads with beautiful notes of spicy ripe cherries, lavender, and rosemary. This wine is plush and ripe, with hints of roasted chestnuts on the mid-palate. A fitting conclusion, the finish is powerful and dense.
