Domaine de la Mordoree Sale
We just received our yearly allocation of one of the world’s great estates, Domaine de la Mordoree. These will not last long!
“Domaine de la Mordoree ranks as one of the most impeccably, precisely run estates and negociant businesses in western Europe. Their least-expensive offerings are stunningly good, and their high end, flagship wines from Lirac and Chateauneuf du Pape are magnificent. Moreover, this estate continues to go from strength to strength.”

2014 Domaine de la Mordoree Cotes du Rhone, France
On Sale $15.99
A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and the rest Cinsault, Carignan, and Counoise… this wine shows some dark plum notes intermixed with raspberry, kirsch, and licorice. An impecably balanced wine, this is always one of the best values of vintage.
2013 Domaine de la Mordoree Lirac “Cuvee de la Reine des Bois”
On Sale $32.99…Lowest price online!!!
Easily one of the top wines of the appellation, the 2013 Lirac Cuvee de la Reine des Bois is made from equal parts Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, and will spend 12 months 70% in tank and 30% in older barrels. Possessing awesome notes of cassis, violets, licorice and crushed-rock-like minerality, this fabulous effort has full-bodied richness, layers of sweet fruit, and chewy, ripe tannin that keeps the finish going. Hats off to the Delorme brothers for this smoking effort. I’ve yet to see these guys put a foot wrong, and regardless of the vintage, they’re able to make superb wines. In addition to their terrific Châteauneuf du Papes, they continue to raise the quality of their Lirac and Côtes du Rhône releases.

2013 Domaine de la Mordoree Chateauneuf du Pape, France
On Sale $79.99
One of the stars in the vintage… impressive plum, blackberry and hints of crushed rock, medium to full-bodied richness and fine tannin that frames the finish beautifully. It has the high acid levels of the vintage, yet everything is perfectly balanced, the tannin is ripe and it should have over a decade of longevity. I’ve yet to see these guys put a foot wrong, and regardless of the vintage, they’re able to make superb wines.
