24 Jul Pinot Party!
We love Pinot, I mean we really looooooooooove it. It so perfectly represents where it’s grown in the glass, in our opinions more so than any other varietal. Today we’re featuring some stunning new arrivals and a few perennial favorites. Oh, and if you don’t know about German Pinot Noir (aka Spatburgunder)? Let’s put it this way, we consider it to be what Burgundy was 10-15 years ago, both in price and style…wild and unusual, with the top wines still going for a song. If you think you know about German wines, take it from the wine nerds….you don’t. Heck, WE’RE still getting our minds blown regularly. So go get some fresh Salmon on the grill, or some hard nutty cheese, and go to town!
