Ramey Wine Cellars

20 Oct Ramey Wine Cellars

We have incredible prices on these two entry-level wines from Ramey Wine Cellars. David Ramey is a big name in California and his wines are honest and delicious. The style is new world-old world. That is, they offer an homage to old world traditions but they still taste bright and modern. We love them so much, in fact, that we bought a lot. I mean, a lot. So we’re letting them go at amazing prices!

“David Ramey has long had one of the most impressive resumes for any California winemaker. He worked at Chateau Petrus in Bordeaux and for Christian Moueix at Dominus. He also consulted and worked for a number of high end Napa Valley wineries. Of course, his first love is Ramey Wine Cellars.”

2014 Ramey Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast
On Sale $32.99
The 2014 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) offers good up front intensity in a mid-weight style that will drink well with minimal cellaring. Lemon confit, orchard fruit, chamomile and lightly oaked notes are laced into the silky finish. This is a very pretty, bright Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.

2013 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon
On Sale $49.99
Deep garnet-purple, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of crème de cassis, ripe plums and pencil shavings with hints of sautéed herbs and beef drippings. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with concentrated black fruit and earth flavors, framed by grainy tannins and finishing with an herbal lift.
