2013 Foley Claret
On Sale $124.99
The prodigious 2013 Claret (a 690-case blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot) comes from various AVAs, including Mt. Veeder, Howell Mountain, and of course, Calistoga. Also aged 18 months in French oak, this wine displays compelling crème de cassis notes intermixed with cedar wood, baking spices, blackberry, and hints of mulberries and flowers. The wine has great intensity, a full-bodied, super-duper mouthfeel, and a very long finish of close to 45+ seconds. This is a beauty, with sweet tannin as well as profound depth. Drink it over the next 20+ years.
96 Points, Robert Parker

2013 Foley Cabernet Sauvignon
On Sale $82.99
Equally impressive is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Atlas Peak and Calistoga. Opaque purple to the rim, with beautiful notes of charcoal embers, melted road tar, truffle, blackberry and cassis, this big, unctuously textured, full-bodied wine has incredible density and richness, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a phenomenal finish. It is young, but undeniably impressive. Give it another 2-3 years of cellaring and drink it over the following two decades-plus.
98 Points, Robert Parker

2014 Foley Griffin Red Blend
On Sale $37.99
Happily, things picked up with his 2014 The Griffin, a proprietary blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Charbono. Aged 18 months in French oak (both new and neutral), this is a big cuvée at a good price for an almost Mediterranean-styled wine with loads of meat, lavender, pepper, spice box, and excellent, ripe black and red currant fruit. It is medium-bodied, silky textured, and best drunk over the next 5-7 years.
89 Points, Robert Parker

2013 Foley Merlot
On Sale $52.99
A hundred percent Merlot, the 2013 Merlot comes from both Calistoga and Howell Mountain. Aged 18 months in French oak, this is a good, chunky, chocolaty style of Merlot, with some coffee bean notes, underbrush, as well as plenty of black cherry and blackcurrant fruit in a fleshy, succulent style. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
89 Points, Robert Parker

2013 Foley Pinot Noir
On Sale $52.99
Beautiful garnet hue. The aroma suggests a medley of strawberry and raspberry with a slight hint of toasty oak. Medium body and lively on the palate, the crisp natural acidity lifts these aromas and provides a long elegant finish. Aged one year in 100% new Burgundian cooperage and another year in the bottle, the 2013 Pinot Noir is drinking very well with ample natural acidity to lie down and continue to develop for years to come.
Winery Notes

2014 Foley Charbono
On Sale $38.99
The Charbono shows a rare combination for a California red of thorough ripeness and bright tangy acidity. The beautiful deep, opaque ruby color provides a visual clue to the ripeness, which shows again in aromas of mixed berry fruit jam and vanilla. The full mid palate is framed with lively acidity that gives way to velvety soft tannin in the finish. This is a very versatile food wine!
Winery Notes

Also Wednesday! Come witness the unveiling of the limited edition “Repeal Reserve” bourbon from George Remus! This very special bourbon will not be released into the market until November, but this is your chance to taste it and order your bottles in advance!
