A stunning vintage for the Eden Valley and this has beautiful aromatic purity, bathed in lime and lemon, some riper stone fruit aromas too, all wrapped in fragrant floral perfume. The palate has a striking mix of power and flesh, the concentration is impressive, it has layers and layers of powerful fruit. The finest Bin 51 to date! 2015 Ernie Els “Big Easy” Chenin Blanc, South Africa
On Sale $12.99
The 2015 Big Easy (White) is pure Chenin Blanc. It has an attractive nose, nicely perfumed with fresh lime and citrus fruit. The palate is crisp and fresh with lime and orange zest, a taut line of acidity and a satisfying, lightly spiced finish. Punters’ Chenin – nicely made and nicely priced at that!
The Wine Advocate

2015 Quinta Essentia Chenin Blanc, Cape of Good Hope, South Africa
On Sale $35.99
A creamy, gently toasty style, with a brioche note leading the way for peach, persimmon and yellow apple flavors. The bright acidity keeps this fresh, while carrying a gentle toasted hint gracefully. The debut release for this joint venture of Washington’s Betz Family and South Africa’s De Morgenzon. Drink now through 2018. 600 cases made.

2008 Yarra Yering Dry Red Wine No. 2, Yarra Valley, Australia
On Sale $73.99
Opaque ruby. Exotic, spice-accented aromas of raspberry, cherry-vanilla, potpourri and black pepper, along with a hint of mocha. Lush and creamy on entry, then more taut in the middle, offering sappy red berry and candied violet flavors and an overtone of vanillin oak and spices. Deeply concentrated but energetic as well, finishing with excellent clarity and sweet, floral persistence. This wine, which is made from 95% shiraz, 2% each of viognier and mataro and 1% marsanne, benefits enormously from aeration.

2013 Penley Estate “Phoenix” Cabernet, Coonawarra, South Australia
On Sale $14.99
Ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of red- and blackcurrant, cherry and black pepper, with hints of fresh flowers and pipe tobacco. Shows good energy and lift to the zesty red fruit, bitter chocolate and spice flavors. The smooth finish shows gentle tannic grip, leaving a warm cherry note behind.
