Spanish Rosé Tasting

30 Mar Spanish Rosé Tasting

Sunday, April 2
1 to 4pm
At the Bar

We think (we hope!!!) it’s safe to assume we’re done with winter for the year. And that means Rosé season is upon us! Some of our early arrivals are these perennial favorites from Spain. Sample them Sunday!

2016 Borsao Rosado, Spain
On Sale $7.99
Pale orange. Lively, focused scents of fresh strawberry and tangerine are underscored by a chalky mineral element. Taut, dry and focused, conveying good lift and bite and no excess fat. The energetic finish leaves behind a refreshingly bitter berry skin note. Superb value here.

2016 Garnacha de Fuego Rosado, Spain
On Sale $8.99
The amazing Garnacha de Fuego Rosé is 90% Old Vine Grenache and 10% Viura, a white indigenous grape of the region. This is given minimal skin contact, pressed and fermented in very low temperatures, then bottled for its freshness. Delicate pink color, with notes of wet stones, strawberries and cranberries, the wine is fresh, light-bodied, dry and just a killer value. Drink it over the next several years.
