Seating is limited!

2012 Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vignes “Morceaux”
On Sale $79.99
This exhibits fine purity to its cherry, berry and floral aromas and flavors. Elements of tobacco and earth add depth, and the silky texture is backed by harmonious acidity and tannins. Excellent length. Best from 2017 through 2028. 75 cases imported.
93 Points, Wine Spectator

2011 Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin “Les Evocelles”
On Sale $79.99
Dark, rich fruit tends toward the blue/black end of the spectrum. Spices, licorice and violets all flow from a Chambertin that is at times quite sensual and delicate, but also shows quite a bit of power lying in reserve.
89-91 Points, Vinous Media

2013 Philippe Charlopin Gevrey-Chambertin “Le Justice”
On Sale $64.99
An elegant, pure and airy nose displays layered red berry fruit of pomegranate and cherry scents that are cut with hints of earth and floral notes. I like the fine detail and punch of the equally refined middle weight flavors that convey an attractive minerality, all wrapped in a mildly austere and persistent finale.

On Sale $69.99
Red plum, soy and a scintilla of something “Oriental” that might well be in situ by the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, lithe tannin that encase bright red fruit and neatly carry the oak. Harmonious in the mouth, this should drink well over the next 6 to 8 years.
89-91 Points, The Wine Advocate

2011 Philippe Charlopin Morey-St.-Denis “Clos Solon”
On Sale $69.99
A small parcel, planted in 1930, just below 1er Cru Blanchards. 30% new oak, the elegant, lighter wines from Morey-St-Denis offers a wonderful contrast to it’s more muscular neighbor to the north.
Merch Notes

2012 Philippe Charlopin Bourgogne Rouge
On Sale $32.99
The vines for this all come from plots adjoining Gevrey-Chambertin, Couchey, and Marsannay. Aging is all in older barriques.
