2013 Domaine Guillaman Cuvee Louis Blanc, Gascogne, France
On Sale $8.99
The bouquet of the Cuvée Louis is exuberant, with enticing aromas of fresh fruit, including lemon, grapefruit, lychee, passion fruit, and a hint of acacia. The taste is well-rounded, and very fresh. There is good follow-through from the fruity bouquet.
2014 Domaine de la Grenaudiere Muscadet Serve & Maine, Loire Valley
On Sale $9.99 Lowest price online!
The grape for ALL Muscadets is NOT Muscadet, nor Moscato, nor Muscat…it’s Melon de Bourgogne, and the wines are bone dry. Muscadet is the name of the village at the confluence of the Serve and Maine rivers. And while all Muscadets have racy acidity, what makes this one SO delicious is how the lush fruit gives the wine such a rich texture not normally seen in these traditionally lighter wines. It’s truly the best Muscadet we’ve ever tasted, a Cadillac quaffer to be sure.
2015 Guillaume Gonnet Cotes-du-Rhone Rose
On Sale $11.99
(50% grenache & 50% cinsault) “Guillaume Gonnet’s beautifully complex rosé is distinguished by its vibrant red currant, crisp pomegranate, and pink grapefruit character. Wonderful garrigue and soil intensity can be found throughout this dry wine. It is made using the direct press method and vinified in stainless steel tanks.”
2015 Guillaume Gonnet Tavel Rose
On Sale $13.99
(70% grenache, 20% Cinsault, 10% Syrah) This special rosé blend from Guillaume Gonnet hails from Tavel, a small, picturesque village located directly across the Rhône river from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This special appellation is difficult to find outside of Europe, though it produces some of the most age-worthy rosé wines in France. Showing a true sense of place, Guillaume Gonnet’s Tavel is a very complex, bold wine of a deep red color. Intense red briary fruits are the focal point of this wine, though it also possesses deep flavors of chalky earth and smoked Provençal herbs through the extra-long finish.”
