2009 Chereau-Carre Le Clos du Chateau l’Oiseliniere Muscadet Sevre et Maine
On Sale $23.99
This Muscadet falls into a new classification process in Muscadet called Cru Communaux, designed to showcase the terroir, and Le Clos is designated as having one of the best subsoils in the appellation. The wine is mineral-driven and honeyed on the nose, with a rich, textured palate and a long finish. This wine is a classic example of the Melon de Bourgogne grape, without the harsh acidity it can sometimes exhibit.
