Surprise! Join us for a special edition tasting where we’ll sample new wines made by Paul Latta, the former assistant winemaker for Washington’s celebrated Charles Smith Winery. Latta has struck out on his own with the delicious and reasonable-priced Disruption line, and as a bonus we will be offering samples and a pre-arrival sale on a line of single-vineyard, small production Latta Wines.
2015 Disruption Chardonnay, Ancient Lakes, Washington
On Sale $13.99
The Ancient Lakes AVA is one of the coolest areas in Washington State. It has calcium rich basalt derived soils, packed with caliche and gravel. The resulting Chardonnay is crisp and clean, with lemon meringue, lime zest and mineral notes.
2014 Disruption Red Blend, Columbia Valley, Washington
On Sale $14.99
The warmer climate of the Wahluke Slope gives richness and intensity to the fully ripened Cabernet Sauvignon. The freshness and dark fruit of the Malbec benefits from the cooler sites of the Yakima Valley. The result – a deep and dark blend that has vibrancy and freshness on the palate. The best of both worlds.
2014 Disruption Cabernet Sauvignon , Columbia Valley, Washington
On Sale $14.99
We’re sourcing from the Wahluke Slope for rich and long Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot that gives fantastic color and structure. The cooler Yakima Valley Malbec gives dark fruit and great color with floral aromatics and our Merlot offers velvety mouth-feel and length. The result? A deep garnet wine with notes of cassis and black cherry complimented by fresh sage and tobacco. A generous palate backed up by the ripe tannins of the
vintage. Classic Washington.

2012 Latta Malbec
Pre-Arrival Price $45.99
A wine that showed beautifully from barrel, and didn’t disappoint from bottle, the 2012 Malbec Northridge Vineyard (100% Malbec) comes from gravelly, loam soils and saw a 40-day maceration followed by aging in 40% new French oak. This big, hedonistic, layered beauty offers up tons of jammy black raspberry, plum, crushed violets and licorice to go with full-bodied richness and depth, a seamless texture and a terrific finish. It will be better in another year or two and keep for a decade.
